Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower
I’m convinced this quote is about New Paltz in the fall. Like my fellow bloggers Jessie and Kristen, I also love autumn and I’m really glad that I get to experience it in such a wonderful place. As you can tell from Kristen’s pictures the leaves changing color here are quite a spectacle!!! GO CHECK OUT HER BLOG BUT THEN COME BACK TO MINE!!!
So yeah I’ll keep this nice and simple! I love Autumn. I also love parents and family which is perfect because last weekend was Parent Family Weekend, a nice time for you guessed it, parents and family to come up or down or left or right and see how their first years are adjusting and LOVING SUNY New Paltz. It was a lot of fun seeing some of the parents and family members that I had met over the summer as an orientation leader, especially the ones whom I “orientated” (is that a word?) during PARENT AND FAMILY SESSION # ONE!!!!!!!!!!!
While I was on a boatride and later on when I was back on campus for the Comedy show, I decided to interview some fellow New Paltz students to find out what they liked best about New Paltz in the fall.
So those are their answers but I want to hear everyone else’s as well so lay them on me! And to all of you prospective New Paltz students, come take a visit here so you can decide what you like about New Paltz in the Fall…
More to come soon!

Hi Kevin!! That was a magnificent video, that boatride looked quite fun. I love autumn in NP because I enjoy picking massive bags of apples and making apple chips in the microwave.
Do you want the recipe? Okay great! Here it is: Slice apples into very thin pieces. Add some cinnamon or sugar (but be careful because too much cinnamon may cause the slices to burn)
Microwave for 3 mins, flip and microwave for another 3 mins
Let them sit out and cool… but place them in an area away from others because they may be all gone by the time you go to eat them… hint hint
