Yo.
I was recently thinking back to a conversation I was having with my friend Sampson, a first-year. This was before he had gotten here and I was talking to him about my experiences here/how much I love it here. He showed me a website that he had been looking at to view other people’s view on the school. It was the College Prowler site. It had all these reviews from students here that seemed pretty honest. I figured I’d take a crack at the same thing!
Academics: A
I love my classes here! It really feels like I’m getting an amazing education here. Once I got into my major oriented classes I felt way more passionate about it than ever!
Athletics: B
I’ve only been to a few sports related things… It’s not something that everyone really hears about. I will say one thing we have awesome teams and the people who do support them do it with all their hearts.
Campus Dining: B
Hasbrouck is pretty good in my opinion and so is all the other dining options. The one things is that after a while hasbrouck gets repetitive, which can also be a good thing in terms of favorites,
Campus Housing: A-
I LOVE LIVING IN THE RESIDENCE HALLS! I didn’t give it the A+ because I know that there are some halls that have things that other halls don’t and that’s not always super awesome.
Campus Strictness: A
The Ra’s and Rd’s all do an amazing job to ensure everyone is safe. They also make sure everyone can have their fun. Perfect balance in my eyes.
Computers: B+
We have computers… Sometimes certain labs are crowded, but you can go looking for another one if needed.
Diversity: A
People come from all over the place! I see this just as diverse as NYC.
Drug Safety: A
We have our policies and they are upheld strongly.
Facilities: B+
Girls: A
Yep A.
Greek Life: B-
I’m involved with Greek Life here and it has the potential to be much bigger. The stereotype lives on, but it’s been getting better. It’s something that has changed my life and it can change the lives of others as well. Until it can be seen in a greater light I can’t give it the A+ it deserves.
Guys: A.

Health and Safety: A+
I actually just got my monthly health and safety check. I aced it as did they!
Local Atmosphere: A+
This might as well be Mr. Roger’s neighborhood because it always feels like a wonderful day here!
Nightlife: A-
There’s programs in your halls. Events throughout campus. A dance club in town. This place is poppin
Off Campus Dining: A-
Fat bob’s <3 Also the Bistro’s breakfast special! Oh man so many good things!
Off Campus Housing: A
I plan on moving off campus next year so I can vouch for the amazing selection out there.
Parking: C+
I’m not a driver, but I hear parking causes migraines sometimes…
Transportation: A
We got the Loop which gets us around town and we’re by a bus station. That’s all I need to travel.
Weather: B+
New Paltz weather is cray cray… but in a good way! This past winter we had a lot of awesome weather! I’m loving it right now
