Howdy all! This past weekend I had a magical time time with the rhsa eboard and some hall gov’t members as well. We went to Camp Greenkill about an hour away from New Paltz and boy was it an experience. Continue reading
I was recently thinking back to a conversation I was having with my friend Sampson, a first-year. This was before he had gotten here and I was talking to him about my experiences here/how much I love it here. He showed me a website that he had been looking at to view other people’s view on the school. It was the College Prowler site. It had all these reviews from students here that seemed pretty honest. I figured I’d take a crack at the same thing! Continue reading
YO! I’ve been off enjoying this amazing week to the extreme. Like picture a kid in the candy store, but IN SPACE! That’s how awesome this week has been. It’s been a rush of friends, family, and class type things. I’m thinking its time for a break down. Continue reading
Howdy Everyone!!!! Ok so it’s time to dive right back into informing you about New Paltz and me, but changes will be made…
Let me lay them out for you! Continue reading
No shave November recently ended and not a moment too soon for some. All across campus you could hear shaving cream being plopped on to faces and the scraping of razors against hair faces, but most importantly the sigh of accomplishment. This is a feat that takes a toll on many. Some break down, some become stronger, but there is always one thing that they gain: facial hair. Although as you will see that is a pro and con. With out further ado here are the survivors of our original 5 contenders for no shave November. We also got one more surprise contender joined us! My suitemate Sam!! Here’s his work of art!
You should all know that we could’ve all continued to go on to master the Decembeard, but lets face it only one of us was rocking the facial hair haha. Good luck to ya Sam!
It’s here. One of the most feared weeks known to man: Finals Weeks. This is one of the most demanding weeks in the eyes of us college kids. We’re not always on the academic track, lets face it we wanna have fun, but this is the one week we all acknowledge work has to get done. We have one week to finish up all our classes with tests and essays. This is a week of studying and that’s how it should be! I only say this because I need to get my study on… Continue reading
This past week we had our Thanksgiving break so I decided to go back home for the week. I live in New York City so you know I had some crazy adventures my time there. These adventures were kinda like an eye opener for me. During the past few day I realized 2 things:
+ I Miss my friends and family from back home more than I thought.
+ Me and the city are like pb&j.
So I got the opportunity to do another program with DubStep Into Leadership this past Monday. It was called Ice Cream Recognition. It is a program dedicated to helping you learn how to recognize yourself and others using Ice Cream as a medium! A key part of this was the fact that the program was put on with NRHH! I feel like shouting this from the rooftops! Chicken nuggets are one of my favorite foods ever! I wasn’t even planning on going to Hasbrouck today if it wasn’t for two of my brothers, Steven and EV. Like I can’t even put into words how happy I was to be eating this today. I think EV topped me however. He was so energetic walking in there. He even taught me the epic combination of barbecue sauce and honey mustard! It was beyond delicious! They do this very rarely and I look forward to it when they do!
Howdy everyone! I hope you all had an amazing Halloween! But there is something very important that must be discussed… No Shave November. That’s right ladies and gentleman, it’s that time of the year when shaving takes a back seat and facial hair takes over. Here are the rules! Continue reading
