Finals Induced Hibernation Begins Tomorrow!

Hey everyone,

I am really early with my entry this week! This is for a number of reasons, the biggest being I must begin studying for my finals tomorrow. Below is a picture of what I will look like along with many other of my fellow classmates when the semester is over:

I am also ecstatic to announce that I am the new secretary of NSSLHA! I just found out a few hours ago! I am really excited about this opportunity and it feels really good to be involved and be on the e-board of a student organization that directly relates to my future career. It is important to be involved in organizations just for fun but its also important to be involved in things that will give you experiences in the career you want to pursue.

Since everyone is going home soon my friends and I decided to go out to dinner at McGuillicuddy’s in New Paltz. They have hands down some of the best wings! It was fun to have a relaxing, fun night out with friends before finals. New Paltz has a lot to do in town and there are a lot of places to eat and hang out. It’s also nice as a commuter to come to New Paltz for another reason other than class. I will definitely still visit the town of New Paltz even after I graduate.

One of my best friends and I at McGuillicuddy’s in New Paltz :)

So this will be the last entry until classes resume after winter break. My Fiance and I along with his brother will be down in Florida for the entirety of break visiting friends and family so I will have plenty to post about when classes start again. Before we leave we are spending Christmas Eve with my Mother and Step Dad where I can look forward to an Italian Christmas including but not limited to Cannolis and a huge pot of sauce. And of course the horses get a special Christmas treat too! Then I will split Christmas Day with my Fiance’s parents and my Dad and Sister.  I want to wish everyone Happy Holidays/New Year and for those of you who celebrate Hanukkah I hope you also have a good remaining holiday! :) :)   Talk to you all soon!!

Thanks as always for reading!

-Hillary

PS

My cat Pepper says Happy Holidays :) “MEOW”
